Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) is partnering with the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) to host the Annual National Osteopathic Medical School Fair. It is the first time the event will be held in the Southern region.
The event offers students and advisors opportunities to meet with recruiters from more than 20 medical schools across the country. The fair is designed to provide regional students with valuable insights into various osteopathic medical school options and help them acquire essential information for their future medical careers.
“We are incredibly excited to host the Annual Pre-Medical School Fair in partnership with the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM). This landmark event, making its debut in the Southern region, promises to be a transformative experience for pre-medical students, academic advisors, and the broader community interested in learning about Osteopathic Medicine,” said Jevon Joseph, director of recruitment and outreach for LMU-DCOM.
The pre-medical fair is not only beneficial for students but also for academic advisors and counselors, career counselors, and parents and guardians of students looking to stay informed about career decisions, guiding students through the medical school application process and supporting students in making informed career decisions.
“This event highlights the commitment of LMU-DCOM to fostering the next generation of physicians and underscores the significance of expanding access to osteopathic medical education. We are proud to provide a platform that connects pre-medical students with osteopathic medical school recruiters from across the country,” Joseph said.
The Annual National Osteopathic Medical School Fair will be held Sept. 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Rothchild Catering and Conference Center, 8807 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923.
